Begin With a ConsultationHealth Canada-cleared · non-invasive · no down time
Technology-supported healing for mind and body, integrated into the Centre’s whole-person recovery and mental wellness pathways.
What it is
EXOMind™ is a non-invasive technology using ExoTMS™ neurostimulation, designed to support areas involved in emotional regulation, focus, mental clarity, self-control, and cognitive resilience.
At the Centre, EXOMind™ is not viewed as a stand-alone intervention. It’s woven into broader pathways of care that may include counselling, recovery support, nervous system restoration, coaching, somatic work, family support, and integrative therapies. The goal isn’t simply symptom reduction. It’s helping create stronger conditions for meaningful, lasting change.
How the Centre uses it
EXOMind™ works by supporting the mind’s natural ability to adapt and create new patterns over time through a process known as neuroplasticity. Stress, trauma, depression, substance use challenges, burnout, and prolonged overwhelm can sometimes create patterns that become harder to shift, even when insight and effort are already present.
EXOMind™ uses targeted stimulation designed to help activate areas that may be under-functioning, strengthen communication between important neural networks, and support more flexible, responsive patterns. Over time, this may help people regulate emotions more effectively, experience greater clarity and focus, respond differently to stress, and move forward with greater steadiness.
Why coaching matters alongside it
At the Centre, EXOMind™ and EMVital™ are not the centre of the work. People are. These technologies are tools that may help create stronger conditions for healing, supporting people as they reconnect with clarity, steadiness, resilience, and meaningful change. Sustainable healing rarely involves only one part of a person, which is why sessions are paired with coaching or counselling rather than offered alone.
Two different technologies
Where EXOMind™ supports the mind’s capacity for change, EMVital™ supports the body’s capacity to restore. Together they help create a stronger foundation for whole-person healing.
EXOMind™ is built on the same evidence-informed foundation as traditional Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), reflecting newer advancements in how this type of therapy is delivered. It is designed to deliver stimulation more efficiently within each session and across a shorter course, rather than relying on a high number of sessions over many weeks.
*Treatment plans vary by individual needs.
The body side
EMVital™ supports the body through energy-based technology designed to encourage relaxation, circulation, vitality, and physical restoration. It may support people experiencing fatigue, burnout, physical tension, nervous system overload, chronic stress, recovery strain, or the physical effects of prolonged emotional distress.
EMVital™ is integrated into broader wellness and recovery pathways to support the body alongside the deeper emotional, relational, and nervous system work already taking place in someone’s healing.
Where this fits
EXOMind™ and EMVital™ are not offered as stand-alone treatments. They’re thoughtfully woven into select pathways. See Programs & Services for the full picture of each pathway.
What to expect
Sessions take place in person at the Centre in Calgary, in a dedicated room, and are paired with a coaching or counselling conversation, so what comes up during a session has somewhere to go. A first session typically starts with an introduction to the room and equipment before the session itself.
Exact session length, what a treatment course looks like for your situation, and whether any part of the process can be offered remotely are all worth confirming when you book. They depend on individual needs, not a fixed script.
Coaching or counselling is part of how EXOMind™ is offered at the Centre, not a separate booking. Confirm the specifics for your session when you book.
This varies by situation. See Insurance & billing and Payment & financing options, or ask directly when you book.
In person at the Centre in Calgary. Ask when you book whether any part of the process can be handled remotely for your situation.
Often around six, compared with the 20–40 sessions typical of traditional TMS. Treatment plans vary by individual needs, so this isn’t a fixed number.
That’s exactly what a first consultation is for. A conversation can help clarify what you’re experiencing, whether EXOMind™ may fit, what additional support may help, and what next steps make sense. You may leave with a plan, or simply with greater clarity.
